Hi, I’m Paulina, and I’m passionate about helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of early parenthood. As a former midwife and public health advocate, I’ve spent over 16 years in healthcare, supporting women, families, and communities in some of life’s most important moments. My experience has shaped who I am and inspired me to dedicate my work to empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence they need to care for their little ones.

My journey as a healthcare professional has been deeply personal. I’ve worked as a midwife, helping countless families bring new life into the world, and I’ve led initiatives in infant feeding advocacy, improving care for mothers and babies. These experiences taught me not only the medical side of parenthood but also the emotional complexities that new parents often face.

As a mother myself, I understand the mix of joy, fear, and overwhelm that comes with those early days of parenting. That’s why I’m so committed to sharing what I’ve learned, both professionally and personally, to help others on their journey. I believe in creating a supportive, nurturing environment where parents can feel empowered to ask questions, seek guidance, and find community.

URBANFAMILIES is my way of continuing this mission, offering classes, resources, and support to first-time parents. It’s my hope that through this work, I can help others feel more prepared, confident, and connected as they embrace the rewarding adventure of parenthood.
