This session offers a gentle, supported introduction to water for newborns and their parents, inspired by the Birthlight Aquatic Nurture approach. It is designed to strengthen bonding, support your baby’s natural development, and help you feel confident, calm, and connected while holding your baby in warm water.

During the session, you’ll be guided through simple, safe ways to support your baby in the water using relaxed holds and responsive movements. The focus is on attainment — following your baby’s cues, supporting regulation, and creating a sense of security and trust. There is no pressure for performance or “teaching” your baby anything; this is about shared presence, touch, and connection.

Aquatic Nurture can be especially beneficial for newborns who experienced a challenging birth, separation, or early stress, as well as for parents who want to deepen bonding in a calm, embodied way. The session lasts approximately two hours, allowing plenty of time to move slowly, ask questions, and rest when needed. Everything unfolds at your baby’s pace, in a warm, supportive environment.

Who this session is for

This session is for parents and caregivers of newborns who want a calm, nurturing way to bond with their baby in water. It’s especially supportive if your baby is very young, sensitive, or if you’re looking for a slower, more connected alternative to traditional baby swimming classes. It can also be a beautiful option if your baby experienced a challenging birth or early separation, or if you as a parent want to build confidence in handling your baby with ease and trust.

Who this session is not for

This is not a swimming lesson and there is no expectation for your baby to “perform,” float independently, or follow exercises. If you’re looking for structured stroke teaching or fast-paced group classes, this approach may not be the right fit. The focus here is on regulation, connection, and presence rather than skills or milestones.

This course is two hours long, flexibly fitted around your schedule and preference.

This antenatal course is offered in English or Polish.
